We've been getting some performance issues with our XAF applications. Everything runs fine with a couple of users, but when we get to 28-30 concurrent users the server freezes up.
It's running on Windows Server 2008, with 4 2.66Ghz proccesors (Xeon), it shouldn't be hogging so much processor time.
The application is using server mode.
I regret to inform you that we cannot determine the cause of this issue on our side.
We are constantly testing this scenario in our internal applications, and our tests do not show this issue. In addition, we have not received similar requests from other clients before. I suggest that you use specialized tools to profile this situation at the database server level.
For example, for the SQL Server, you can use the SQL Server Profiler application and can search for information regarding this issue on the SQL Server Tools forum.
