Using VS 2012 with Update 2 applied (but the problem appeared before I applied that update, and I had Update 1 installed).
Hello,
I installed 2012.2.8 this morning, and now when I go to the Builds view of Team Explorer, I get the following 4 errors displayed where the builds should be, and cannot see any build information:

If I uninstall it, the Team Explorer works correctly; I've repeated the uninstall/reinstall steps several times to ensure it was not something else. I do have some other extensions installed, but I disabled them all for testing.
For now I will reinstall the previous version. Please let me know if I can provide any additional information. Thanks.

Having the same issue with VS 2012 with Update 2 and 2012.2.8
Hi Matt,
Thank you for letting us know about this problem. We examined the call stacks you provided, but have not found any method call related to our tools. So, at the moment, we have no clear idea on how our product may cause this problem. Therefore, we need additional information to help us find out what is going wrong. First, please check that this problem persist with CodeRush unloaded. To unload CodeRush, push the DevExpress>Unload menu button and wait while our tool is unloaded. Also, please let us know what other Visual Studio extensions are installed on your side. These extensions may cause side effects in Visual Studio even if disabled. You can check this via the "Extension Manager" dialog ("Tools | Extension Manager…" menu).
In addition, the About information of Visual Studio can also be of a great help. Simply click the Copy Info button in the Help -> About Microsoft Visual Studio dialog and share this information with us. This can help us to get closer to your environment.
Hi Alex,
I uninstalled 12.2.4 and reinstalled 12.2.8 and again see the bad behavior. I then restarted VS and unloaded CodeRush as you directed before selecting Team Explorer->Builds, but still get the bad behavior. I then uninstalled 12.2.8 and the bad behavior does not occur.
I do have other extensions installed, and they are all Microsoft:
- Web Developer Tools 1.2.40308.0
- TFS Power Tools 2012 1.0.0.0
- VS Extensions for Windows Library for JavaScript 1.0.9200.20602

Hi Alex,
I decided to try uninstalling the TFS Power Tools, and sure enough, the bad behavior is gone. That's unfortunate, because I like (and only use) its Team Explorer enhancements. Since this has worked fine for me in the past, and only breaks after I install CodeRush 12.2.8, it appears there is some unhealthy interaction between the two, even when I unload CodeRush.
Also interesting is the following text on the TFS Power Tools page, posted 4/4/2013:
On April 4 2013 Update 2 was shipped. It is not possible to install this (Update 1) version of the Power Tools on top of VS Update 2 or TFS Update 2 because of a block in the installer. We are working on a new version, which is estimated to become available in a couple of weeks. As a workaround you can install the Power Tools before you apply Update 2. There are no known issues with that workaround. And if you happen to find one, please let us know.
I have applied VS Update 2 and did not encounter the referenced "block in the installer" - it allows me to install.
Hi Matt,
Thank you for providing additional information. We appreciate your help a lot. I have reproduced this behavior locally and will pass this ticket to our developers for detailed research.
Hi Alex,
I am also having the same problem. Please let us know when it gets fixed so that we can get an interim build,
Thanks
Abu
